This is a fun alternative story to other books about what animals say。 The illustrations in this book are so precious and funny, like the cats running from the dogs。 I like how this is different from other books that talk about what animals say。 This one has fun things like rhinoceroses。 Before reading this book I didn't know the plural of rhinoceros was rhinoceroses。 So it was educational for an adult too! Pretty funny。 I’ve only ever met one dog in real life so far (that’s what I get for being born during a pandemic!), but this book made me excited for future zoo trips this summer。 The ending surprised me - what noise DO I make?? My parents said it was “wahhhh” but idk kinda sounds sus

This book was one I had never read before, but a fellow classmate recommended it! I very much enjoyed the simplicity along with the education of how different animals sound。 It reminds me of a book version of the classic spin toy that points at the various barnyard animals。

The book version of “what sound does the *insert any animal* make?” Not riveting to read as a parent but my daughter enjoys pointing out all the different animals。

Moo, Baa, La La La from Sandra Boynton is a great picture book for children。 This book is for children the ages 6 months to 2 years old。 This book introduces the different sounds that many animals make。 I rated this book a four-star rating because it’s a great book to start introducing sounds and noises to children。 Sandra uses this book to show that each animal makes different noises and sounds。 This book is a great book for children that are starting to talk! For: animal fans; readers looking for a book with animal sounds。Possible red flags: silliness。

Let’s talk about the sounds animals make。 How much emphasis do you put into it? Do you just say “neigh” or does your voice get loud and you shake your cheeks and lips at the end? Do you just say “oink” or do you snort into your kids neck? Lol

Tennyson SP

Loved this around 6 months, especially when Mama made the Oink! noises。

When I first read this book to Jilly and Em (18 mo。), Marg (4 yo。) was like “that’s not how Mommy says the ‘la la la’ part” but then Marg got used to how I do the la la la part so now when her mom reads it she’s like “that’s not how Aunt Maddie does the ‘la la la’ part。” Marg has this book memorized, we switch back and forth reading each page to the babies。 However, I believe this book has gone missing because I haven’t seen it in a while。 Might have to search under a bed or a crib to find it。
